LoyaltyWire tracks the loyalty technology industry: loyalty platforms, rewards programs, CRM, retail, airlines, hotels, payments, martech, and AI.

What we publish

LoyaltyWire covers developments across the loyalty and customer retention industry. Each news item on the site summarizes reporting published elsewhere and links to the original source, so you can read the full story at the outlet that reported it. We also publish original tools and reference material, including our loyalty calculators and our directory of loyalty platforms and industry portals.

Ownership

LoyaltyWire is published by the team that also makes Loyalty+ (loyaltyplus.app), a loyalty app for small businesses. Loyalty+ competes with some of the companies we write about. We keep the two apart:

• Our news summaries and analysis do not pitch Loyalty+.
• Loyalty+ is not included in our vendor comparisons. We would not be a neutral judge of our own product.
• Our directory lists Loyalty+ among the other apps, and its entry says it is made by our publisher.
• Our loyalty app pricing index lists Loyalty+ in the same format as every other app, sorted A to Z, with the same note. Its prices come from its public pricing page, under the same rules as everyone else's.

No vendor pays for coverage, for a place in the directory, or for a place in a comparison.

How this site is produced

LoyaltyWire is a small publication. Our news summaries are produced with an automated pipeline that collects industry coverage, summarizes it, and categorizes it for publication. Source attribution and a link to the original reporting accompany every item.

We are explicit about this because readers deserve to know how what they are reading was made. Automated summaries are not a substitute for the original reporting they point to, and we encourage readers to follow the source link for the complete story, full context, and the reporting credit.

Visitor statistics

We count page views to see which pages are read. We do not use cookies for this and do not store IP addresses or browser details. Each visit is reduced to a random identifier that changes every day and cannot be linked across days, plus the page and a two-letter country code. The country is looked up from your IP address on our server at the moment of the visit, and the address is then discarded. IP geolocation data by DB-IP.com (CC BY 4.0).

If we have summarized something inaccurately, or if you are a publisher who would like an item amended or removed, please get in touch and we will address it.
